Mr. Nasution
Art and social studies teacher, Bekasi
- 🇮🇩 Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia
- 1980 to 2010
- English, Indonesian
For 30 years I was the art teacher at Eastgate High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Nasution
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Nasution: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
