I taught music at Harbor Technical College in Rio de Janeiro from 2002 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Nascimento
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Nascimento: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
