Mr. Nakamya
31 years teaching English literature in Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Oakwood High School
- 2000 to 2024
- English, Swahili
Oakwood High School was my second home. I taught English literature there from 2000 to 2024, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Nakamya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
