Mr. Nakagawa

Teacher at Tokyo Academy, loves environmental science

For 31 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Tokyo Academy. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Mr. Nakagawa

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Nakagawa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
