Dar es Salaam Boys' School was my second home. I taught English literature there from 1987 to 1997, mostly Grade 4.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
