Mr. Nabwire

32 years teaching music in Dar es Salaam

🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Maple Ridge High School
Since 1984
English, Swahili

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Mr. Nabwire

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Nabwire: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
