Mr. Mwesigwa
31 years teaching history in Dodoma
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- Dodoma High School
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Swahili
For eight years I was the history teacher at Dodoma High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Mwesigwa
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mwesigwa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
