Mr. Mutua
Taught biology at Riverside High School
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- 1983 to 2003
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Mutua
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me biology in 1991 at Riverside High School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays
