I taught statistics at Maple Ridge Girls' School in Kampala from 1994 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
