Mr. Mrema
20 years teaching social studies in Thika
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Highland High School
- 2001 to 2020
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For 19 years I was the social studies teacher at Highland High School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Mrema
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
