Mr. Mrema
Chemistry and physics teacher, Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Middle School
- Since 1987
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Mr. Mrema
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Mrema: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
