I taught physical education at Rio de Janeiro Middle School in Rio de Janeiro from 1990 to 1999. Most days I taught first-year students, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Moura: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
