Mr. Mostafa
Accounting and art teacher, Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Middle School
- 1981 to 1997
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Mostafa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mostafa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
