Mr. Moraes
Geography and statistics teacher, Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Bamboo Academy
- Since 2010
- Portuguese
For 16 years I have been the geography teacher at Bamboo Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Moraes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
