I taught drama at Unity High School in Durban from 1982 to 2005. Most days I taught first-year students, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
