Mr. Monteiro
Teacher at Oakwood Middle School, loves home economics
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- Oakwood Middle School
- 1984 to 1997
- Portuguese, Spanish
Oakwood Middle School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 1984 to 1997, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Monteiro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Monteiro: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me home economics in 2025 at Oakwood Middle School. I still remember the long bus ride home
