I taught music at Lotus Middle School in Johannesburg from 2000 to 2018. Most days I taught teenagers, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mr. Mokoena
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mokoena: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
