Mr. Modi
Teacher at Beacon Academy, loves English literature
- 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- Beacon Academy
- Since 2000
- English, French
For 26 years I have been the English literature teacher at Beacon Academy. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Modi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Modi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 2002 at Beacon Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.
