Mr. Miyamoto

32 years teaching biology in Tokyo

  • 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
  • Highland Middle School
  • 2001 to 2017
  • Japanese
Highland Middle School was my second home. I taught biology there from 2001 to 2017, mostly Grade 11. Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mr. Miyamoto

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Miyamoto: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
