Mr. Miah
French and economics teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Beacon Academy
- Since 1993
- English, Bengali
For 33 years I have been the French teacher at Beacon Academy. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Miah
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Miah: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
