Mr. Mendoza
Economics and art teacher, Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- 2001 to 2011
- English, Spanish
I taught economics at Birmingham Middle School in Birmingham from 2001 to 2011. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Mendoza
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mendoza: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
