Mr. Mendis
23 years teaching home economics in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- St. Mary's Public School
- Since 1995
- English
St. Mary's Public School is my second home. I teach home economics there since 1995, mostly primary school children.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Mendis
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mendis: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
