Mr. Mendes
Taught French at Recife Middle School
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Recife Middle School
- 2016 to 2025
- Portuguese, French
I taught French at Recife Middle School in Recife from 2016 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mr. Mendes
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mendes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me French in 2017 at Recife Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
