For 36 years I was the physics teacher at Saint Petersburg High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Mr. Melnyk: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
