- Ashford Boys' School
- 1985 to 2022

For 37 years I was the religious studies teacher at Ashford Boys' School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Mekonnen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
