Mr. Mekonnen
Taught environmental science at Unity Secondary School
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Unity Secondary School
- 1988 to 1998
- English
For ten years I was the environmental science teacher at Unity Secondary School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Mekonnen
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mekonnen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
