Mr. Mejia
19 years teaching home economics in Grand Rapids

I taught home economics at Grand Rapids Public School in Grand Rapids from 2009 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Mejia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
