Mr. Mejia
Biology and French teacher, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Baobab Middle School
- 2003 to 2021
- English
For 18 years I was the biology teacher at Baobab Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Mejia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Mejia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
