I taught physical education at Meadowbank Grammar School in New Delhi from 1996 to 2015. Most days I taught teenagers, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mehta: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
