I teach special education and art at Guarulhos Boys' School, Guarulhos. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Medeiros
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Medeiros: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
