Mr. Mebarek
19 years teaching history in Fresno
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- Fresno Grammar School
- 2005 to 2015
- English, Arabic
For ten years I was the history teacher at Fresno Grammar School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Mebarek
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Mebarek: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 2024 at Fresno Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
