For ten years I was the English literature teacher at San Diego Girls' School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mr. McDonald
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. McDonald: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
