Mr. McCarthy
27 years teaching geography in Dublin
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Dublin Secondary School
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Mr. McCarthy: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
