I taught accounting at Baobab Grammar School in Mthatha from 2016 to 2024. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
