Mr. Maurya
Computer science and home economics teacher, Southampton
- 🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom
- Highland Academy
- 1994 to 2018
- English
I taught computer science at Highland Academy in Southampton from 1994 to 2018. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Maurya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Maurya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
