Mr. Maurya
32 years teaching social studies in Tiruchirappalli
- 🇮🇳 Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India
- Tiruchirappalli Primary School
- Since 1980
- English, French
For 46 years I have been the social studies teacher at Tiruchirappalli Primary School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Maurya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Maurya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me social studies in 1992 at Tiruchirappalli Primary School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
