Mr. Maulana
Retired chemistry teacher from Jacaranda Academy
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Jacaranda Academy
- 1989 to 2015
- English, Indonesian
I taught chemistry at Jacaranda Academy in Surabaya from 1989 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Maulana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me chemistry in 2020 at Jacaranda Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Truly.
