Mr. Maulana
30 years teaching art in Kediri
- 🇮🇩 Kediri, East Java, Indonesia
- St. Joseph's Girls' School
- Since 1986
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Maulana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
