Mr. Mauga

18 years teaching social studies in Auckland

English

I teach social studies at Auckland Academy in Auckland since 2009. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mr. Mauga

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mauga: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
