I taught accounting at Setagaya Primary School in Setagaya from 1990 to 2025. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
