Mr. Matsuda
Computer science and physics teacher, Sapporo
- 🇯🇵 Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
- Silverlake Grammar School
- Since 1998
- Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Matsuda: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me computer science in 2001 at Silverlake Grammar School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand
