Mr. Matagi
Retired English literature teacher from Christchurch Technical College
- 🇳🇿 Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand
- Christchurch Technical College
- 2018 to 2025
- English
For eight years I was the English literature teacher at Christchurch Technical College. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Matagi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
