Mr. Massawe
Physical education and statistics teacher, Thika
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Boys' School
- 1979 to 2012
- English
I taught physical education at Thika Boys' School in Thika from 1979 to 2012. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Massawe: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
