Mr. Massawe
26 years teaching computer science in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kingsway Middle School
- 1990 to 1998
- English, French
I taught computer science at Kingsway Middle School in Kampala from 1990 to 1998. Most days I taught Year 9, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Massawe
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me computer science in 1995 at Kingsway Middle School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
