Mr. Martínez
13 years teaching English literature in Cartagena
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Cartagena Technical College
- 1978 to 2009
- English
I taught English literature at Cartagena Technical College in Cartagena from 1978 to 2009. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Martínez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
