Mr. Martinez
25 years teaching environmental science in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Gateway Grammar School
- 2016 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Martinez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 2016 at Gateway Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
