Mr. Martens
Religious studies and French teacher, Haarlem
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Haarlem High School
- Since 1990
- English, Dutch
For 36 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Haarlem High School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Martens
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Mr. Martens: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
