I taught art at Baobab Grammar School in Manila from 1992 to 2017. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Mr. Manalo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
