Mr. Maksimov
Religious studies and mathematics teacher, Kazan
- 🇷🇺 Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia
- Ashford Academy
- Since 1996
- English, Spanish
For 30 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Ashford Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Maksimov
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Maksimov: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
