For 44 years I have been the social studies teacher at Athens Girls' School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mr. Makris
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Makris: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
